From the Superintendent

Greetings from Marion, Wisconsin!

For decades, the Marion School District has been known as a district that takes pride in providing individualized education for each student that it serves. Nestled in rural Northeastern Wisconsin, Marion’s personalized approach is an excellent fit for all learners.

Marion Elementary (4K – 6th grade) provides an excellent foundation for early learners. In recent years, it has won statewide honors in PBIS (Positive Behaviors and Intervention Systems), has been listed as a “5 star school” (the highest rating given by the DPI), and has been recognized multiple times as a “Title I School of Recognition” (among the highest ranked elementary schools in the state).

The Marion Junior/Senior High School (grades 7 through 12) offers students numerous opportunities to grow as they approach adulthood. Marion Jr./Sr. High is the #1 user in the state in the ERVING (distance learning) Network, which allows students to gain education opportunities from classrooms outside of our district. It is an active member in the Wolf River School-To-Work program, offers dual-credit opportunities, and provides a wide-variety of extra-curricular and fine arts opportunities.

The Marion School District offers many of the same benefits that large school districts do, yet maintains personal connections with each of its students and families. Our district truly provides a great foundation for each of our students. If you haven’t been to Marion in some time, or are new to the Marion School District, I encourage you to visit our buildings, and see for yourself the great learning opportunities taking place in our classrooms today, for tomorrow’s leaders.
